PhotoHunt 123: Colorful

My fabulous hubby took me on a hot air balloon ride for my 30th birthday. I just happen to love rainbows and this balloon had every color :)

31 and tons of fun!

Today is my 31st birthday! Yep...another year older and wiser. Nothing extraordinary for this birthday, however I am starting my 365 project today. I will be taking a self-portrait every day for the next year (or 365 days). So next year on my birthday, I will have documented a full year of my life. The pictures will be posted on Flickr on a daily basis. If I am correct, the next 365 days should be pretty exciting. There may even be some monumental milestones. You'll have to keep track and keep tabs on all the excitement. Here is my pic for Day#1.

PhotoHunt #122: Dark

I took a weekend trip to a friends house at the Chesapeake Bay. On Friday night, the moon went down and we could actually see the Milky Way. We also saw numerous shooting stars and satellites. I may have even seen a UFO, but that has not been confirmed or denied. I was drinking and sitting in the hot tub at the time, so that may have had something to do with my vision ;)

The Hottest Gay Man in the WORLD!

Again...I have to thank Angela for giving me another free concert ticket. This time, we went to see George Michael! The Shocks are on a super tight budget right now. A ticket purchase for this concert was out of the question because the price did not fit our $25 or below rule. Angela to the rescue!! Plans changed and she offered me her other ticket. I jumped at the opportunity to see Hotty McNaughty. George Michael hasn't been on tour in 17 years! This was something I couldn't miss. We got to the Verizon center and were told that we could get into another line for better tickets. All of us in line were talking amongst ourselves, wondering how on earth we were scoring better seats. Our original section was WAY at the top in the nose-bleeds, so when we were handed tickets for the closest level to the floor, we were speechless. George knows how to perform a concert with style. The stage was one of the coolest set-ups I have seen in a long time.

He played everything I wanted to hear, but he left out "I Want Your Sex!" That was a shocker. He chose to end the night with "Freedom." He seemed very humbled by his past and glad to be back on tour in front of thousands of adoring fans. This was my second monumental concert of the year. Thanks Angela!

PhotoHunt 121: Clouds

I'm trying my hand at PhotoHunt. A new theme is issued every Saturday. As a blogger, it is my job to post a picture that coincides with that theme on my little slice of world wide web. Maybe it's practice for my upcoming 365 project that I will be starting on my birthday on the 13th. Anyhooo....here is my picture for this week's PhotoHunt. This was taken the day I went hang gliding. This is not me that you see up in the air, but another glider that I snapped while he was descending back to Earth.
