This was one of my most favorite views in Amsterdam. You can see all the bridges over the canals. I think you can see up to 6 in this picture. We took a tour of the canals on a boat, which was one of the best ways to see the city. Even when the city is overcast and dreary, it's incredibly beautiful.

I'd really like to know. I'm still not positive that what I'm feeling is allergies or a head cold, but I AM positive that I don't like it. I don't get sick very often, so I suppose I was over due. Does anyone remember the toy Cooties? I wish I still had mine; then I could share them with everyone.

Talk about open roads....how about the road in the great blue sky travelled across by numerous planes and aircraft? That is my pick for "Road" this week. This was taken at Gravely Point park which is right next to Reagan National Airport. This plane is coming in for landing.

Sorry. Things have been a tad overwhelming lately. I started Fall classes on the 26th of August and then left for Savannah that Friday. My sister has lived there over 10 years and I still had not gone to visit her. I was never in the right financial position to be able to afford a ticket, but this was the year! This trip was to be one of my last hurrahs to end the Summer of 2008. The trip was fabulous. What else did I expect of five days with my sister? Savannah is a pretty bad-ass town. I think I'd like to go back and possibly bring the hubby next time. I took a ton of pics, and if you'd like to check them out, go to Flickr and look for the set. School is on in full force. This semester I'm taking my first Education class. I will get to spend 10 hours observing in a classroom, which should be tons of fun. I am also taking Jewelry Design. It was not what I thought it would be, but it has turned out to be a lot of fun regardless. So right now, school is my main focus. I'm back to spending less time and money on entertainment, while my brain power will be directed at staying on the Dean's list. I may have taken way too many years to figure out what I wanted to do, and wasted a lot of time and money along the way, but I am going to finish strong and graduate with honors! Watch me!
This pic is from the 2008 US Air Guitar Regional Championship in DC. Nothing is more wild than a group of men and women vying for the title of DC Air Guitar Champion. I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard. If this ever comes to a town near you, it is a must see.

Ironically my PhotoHunt picture for this week is also from Prague. When I hear the word strings, I automatically think music. I remembered a group of street performers by Prague castle and I chose them as this week's photo.

This is my "Beautiful" pick. My first wedding anniversary is approaching and I was looking through our honeymoon pictures while putting our scrapbook together. I thought all the countries we visited were fantastic, but it was Prague that left a lasting impression. It is not just because I am half Czech either. This city has such a rich history and every building is beautiful. This picture is when we took a boat ride across the river and passed through some canals.
