fI saw Louise's post on her blog about "The Omnivore's Hundred." This is a list of 100 foods that are somewhat peculiar. If you have tried them, you mark them in bold and if it is something you would never try, then strike it out. Well after reviewing the list, I was surprised to see that I have tried quite a few. So I decided to participate. Things I've tried are in bold and things I'd never try are in red.

Losing My Cool Points
Sniff...sniff....I had to take out my belly button piercing tonight. I originally had a ring, and then bought a "pregnancy" belly button barbell. These are made from medical grade plastic and are supposed to make your piercing more comfortable as your belly expands. Unfortunatley my piercing irritation did not go away with the new barbell. In fact, it made it even more irritated. So I decided that since my sleep was actually interrupted every time something rubbed against the barbell, it was not a good idea to keep it in. I didn't realize how attached I was to this thing until I took it out. I've had it for 12 years! The hubby told me not to be sad and that I could always get it re-done (and this time professionally). I'll have to see how much damage this kid does to my belly. I may not want anything accentuating my belly. LOL.

Festival of the Arts: Student Exhibition

Yay! My first book that I made for Book Making was selected for the Student Exhibition. I may have jewelry in the show too, but not sure on that one yet. The show will be in The Barry Gallery at Marymount University from March 18th through April 17th. Opening night is Wednesday, March 18th from 5:30 to 7 pm. So if you're in the area, please stop by and check out my work and my fellow students work.
